Dawn has always had an affinity for numbers and for making things run more smoothly. These skills have served her well in myriad positions throughout her life, whether working in donor relations for a regional nonprofit, supporting sales teams for a New England energy company, or volunteering her time in Catholic ministries.
In particular, Dawn has a knack for identifying organizational issues and creatively and proactively managing solutions for those issues. She’s also a big fan of supporting those who make a difference in this world.
So when Dawn decided to go out on her own, the idea for her new business presented itself rather easily. She launched Billing Streamlined in an effort to use her skills to give back to a profession that has done so much for her over the years.
Therapists and counselors have been invaluable to me throughout my adult life,
she says. They’re great at helping people. But many confess that the business side of things, like billing, isn’t their strength. Because my abilities are strong in numbers and administrative matters, I wanted to give mental health counselors a break. If I did their billing, then they could concentrate more on what they obviously love to do—and what they’re so good at.
Today, Billing Streamlined provides billing services to mental health practitioners, therapists, and counselors. Whether the practice is new or it’s been around for years, Dawn and her team can help.
